Lanham is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and also a close urban suburb of Washington D.C, capital of the United States of America. Lanham itself contains The New Carrollton station, which is the terminus of the Washington Metro’s Orange Line, as well as an Amtrak station that span across the Capital Beltway in New Carrollton, Maryland and Lanham itself.
